Full explanation of Yi Jin Jing 易筋經 / ИЦзиньЦзин - recorded during a Qi Gong Retreat in July 2018 at the Shaolin Temple Europe 歐洲少林寺 located in Otterberg / Kaiserslautern in Germany. Shaolin Yi Jin Jing is a method to develop strong and flexible muscles and tendons. It is therefore also called "Muscle and Tendon Change Classic". The 12 Exercise / Posture Names are: 1) Wei Tuo Presenting The Pestle (Frontways) 2) Wei Tuo Presenting The Pestle (Sideways) 3) Wei Tuo Presenting The Pestle (Upwards) 4) Plucking Stars On Each Side 5) Pulling 9 Cows By Their Tails 6) Displaying Claws and Spreading Wings 7) 9 Ghosts Drawing Swords 8) Placing 3 Plates On The Floor 9) Black Dragon Shows It's Claws 10) Tiger Jumping On It's Prey 11) Bowing Down In Salutation 12) Swinging The Tail It belongs to the classic repertoire of Qi Gong exercises in the Shaolin Arts around the globe. Together with the 8 brocades (Ba Duan Jin) and the meditative circular movements (Chan Yuan Gong) it gives a strong foundation to complete all martial exercises. Every year there are several retreats that are taking place in the Shaolin Temple Europe 歐洲少林寺, the monastery where I am living. A retreat can either be a 3-day Retreat (Friday - Sunday) or a 6-day Retreat (Monday - Saturday). Every retreat is held under a specific topic, such as: Gong Fu, Qi Gong (e.g. Ba Duan Jin, Yi Jin Jing, 13 Luohan), Meditation retreats and Rou Quan retreats. If you are interested in joining any of these retreats, please take a look at all dates that are published on the website of the monastery: ➡️ Website: ➡️ Official Online Training: ➡️ Facebook: More videos and Online Trainings are available on: ➡️ Website: ➡️ Facebook: Don't forget to subscribe to receive new updates and content❗️ ❗️❗️❗️1 Minute to support us ❗️❗️❗️ If you like what we're doing or are enjoying our published videos and content, please give us a rating on our Facebook-Site and write a review or rate us on the Google-Site. • History & Philosophy
Liu He Men (Six Harmony Gate) is a branch of Yue style Shaolin Gong Fu. It combines soft and hard, internal and external techniques. Liu He is based in the theory of six combinations: Internally: cultivate essence, energy and spirit. Externally: cultivate hands, eyes and body. The purpose of this training is to develop an ideal state of health, protect the body's energy and master self defence and retaliation. This leads to a superior level of martial arts skill, total freedom of defence, a healthy body and a long life. 'Eyes go with the mind, Mind goes with the Qi, Qi goes with the Body, Hands go with the Feet, Elbows go with the Knees, Shoulders go with the Hips'. Liu He movement is firm, forceful, steady and accurate. The heads moves like an inquisitive ghost, the chest sinks in defence and extendsin attack. The body floats, sinks. and soars, jumps like a cat, dodges like a dog, rolls like a rabbit and turns like an eagle. 'When one part moves, every part moves. When one part is still, every part is still. Move when the enemy moves, move like an avalanche.' Liu He Men was the style practiced by Grandmaster Wan Lai Sheng before he took up Zi Ran Men. However Wan Lai Sheng also continuously developed his skill and style of Liu He Men as he deepened his knowledge of martial arts. Wan Lai Sheng then constructed a curriculum of Liu He Men forms which he felt was most for developing skills as a martial artist, so in this way, Wan Lai Sheng's Liu He Men cirriculum could beseen as the forming foundation for the study of martial arts. It was Wan Lai Sheng who once stated that "All Gong Fu requires understanding of the the six harmonies (Liu He). Without understanding it, your Gong Fu will not be solid."
